Reptiles are a class of animals that is called Reptilian. They have several characteristics like they lay shelled eggs except for a few exceptions, breathe air. Crocodilia has 23 species including gavials, alligators, crocodiles and caimans whereas Sphenodontia has 2 species and include tuataras which are found in New Zealand. Squamata includes some 7900 species approximately and these include Lizards, worm lizards and snakes. Testudines contain some 300 species to be approx including tortoises and turtles.
